EtCaetera: a multi-faceted quintet

Emerging from the ambitious spirit of five young wind quintet students. The Etcaetera quintet is rapidly gaining momentum, they were victorious in the 2021 edition of the "Classical Generation" competition organized by the Wallonia Federation Brussels.

Since their debut, they have been firing on all cylinders and stand out with a colorful group sound reflecting the alchemy of their personalities.
Nothing can stop their personalities and respective cultures shining through. Fate brought them together at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.

The members share an affection for Belgium and its people. The ensemble loves to think outside the box and offer varied and original programs. They seek to take their audience on a discovery of classical and contemporary works with a few incursions into popular music while remaining faithful to their principles and promoting the Belgian repertoire.

The notion of sharing is very dear to the eyes of the EtCaetera Quintet and they strive to raise awareness of music to a young audience. They participated in the "Musical Youth" tour of Belgium in order to introduce young and older children to the wind quintet in a fun and educational way.

In order to reach the widest possible audience the ensemble is invited to perform in Belgium, France, and the Netherlands. They play in varied and even unusual places ranging from prestigious concert halls to museums and even bucolic gardens.

The EtCaetera quintet is supported by the “Chamber Music for Europe” association as well as by the Wallonia festivals
